| FFXIII-2 Release Date + Trailers | ||
 FFXIII-2 will release for both the Playstation 3 and the XboX360 on January 31, 2012. A new trailer is included in the Full Story of this update along with the initial trailer. |

| Final Fantasy XIII-2 Announced! | ||
|
Square Enix confirmed today that Final Fantasy XIII will be getting a sequel - Final Fantasy XIII-2. The game will see the return of Lightning (who has a crazy new look) as well as the introduction of a new female character (as seen in the game logo). They plan to play off the story from the previous game and will be creating a battle system that has developed from the last one. The game has been given a Winter 2011 release date in Japan - less than a year from now! No trailer has been shown yet but we're bound to see new material soon - we'll keep you updated. There isn't a solid confirmed release date for the United States yet but if they stick with the trend they set for XIII we should see it as early as March 2012. For now check out the first two images released for the game and check back as things develop.  |

| Final Fantasy at E3 | ||
|
As always, Square Enix has given us plenty to drool over and speculate about at their annual E3 presentation. And this year they've also set up a Virtual Booth so fans can check out all the news and videos. Square Enix touched on pretty much every immediately upcoming FF related game including Final Fantasy XIV, KH: Birth by Sleep, and FF: The 4 Heroes of Light. Conspicuously absent was anything about Final Fantasy Versus XIII or Agito. But they did provide one torturous teaser with their mention of 3D Kingdom Hearts for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS that was unveiled at E3 also.
