Marks and Elite Marks

Early in the game Vaan is introduced to the glorious world of bounty hunting. Where money is scarce a good bounty can get you what you need to continue. Not only that the deal out some great LP in most cases. You can probably make it through FF12 without being a Marksman but why would you want to when the rewards are this good.

Montblanc at Clan Centurio is your friend! He rewards you every time you attain a new clan rank. He also sends you in the direction of the toughest marks and even commissions you for a few himself.

The process of hunting is very simple. Step One is to learn about it from Montblanc or a Hunt Board. Then you speak to the petitioner to learn where your mark is. Then you go and slay the mark and finally, the best part, retrieve your bounty from the petitioner.

As you learned on the Clan Centurio page, each mark you kill contributes to your clan points and gets you closer to a new clan rank.

So, now that you know how the process goes it's time to learn how we can help you. In the right column of this page you'll find a list of marks by name - click on it and find the mark you want on that page. Included is detailed stat and bounty information as well as a boss strategy. Elemental abbreviations are as follows: Fire = F, Water = W, Thunder = T, Blizzard = B, Aero = A, Earth = E, Holy = H, Dark = D.
