Yuna is Spira's only living High Summoner. Two years ago she defeated Sin with the help of her guardians. Now she is part of a successful team of sphere hunters, the Gullwings. This new life started when Rikku brought Yuna a mysterious sphere that offered a glimpse of a familiar young man. Could it be that an old friend is still alive? Now Yuna scours the world with the Gullwings in the hopes of finding more spheres of the young man.

After the Calm came Rikku, along with Brother, Buddy and Shinra, started the Gullwings, one of many sphere hunting organizations that have appeared on Spira. Rikku was the one who recruited Yuna and got her to join the Gullwings.

Not much is known about Paine's past. She joined the Gullwings and tends to be the more serious member of the team. Paine's motives for joining the Gullwings are shrouded in mystery but we do know that she has always wanted to be part of an airship crew and she's curious what spheres of the past can show her.

Lenne is the former owner of Yuna's Garment Grid. Part of Lenne's personality was captured on this grid and it shows up from time to time

We first see this young man in the sphere that started Yuna's journey. Yuna is searching for more spheres of him so that she can find out who he really is.

Leblanc is owner of the Leblanc Syndicate, a rival sphere hunting organization. Along with her fleet of goons she continuously attempts to thwart the Gullwings sphere hunting endeavors. Leblanc also has a soft spot for the Youth League's leader, Nooj.

Ormi and Logos are Leblanc's right hand goons. Though they're not the brightest lackeys, they still manage to slow down the Gullwings in their hunts for spheres.
