Omega

Omega is immune to most status ailments and is not staggerable so Saboteurs and Ravagers are unnecessary in this fight. We recommend a Commando, Sentinel, and Synergist for this battle. The commando should have the ability Armor Break. The Synergist should have Brave and Faith. It would be optimal if it had Enthunder as well, since that is Omega's weakness. This strategy leads to a five star rating.

PARADIGM NOEL SERAH MONSTER
Cerberus COM COM COM
Offensive Screen COM COM SEN
Tortoise SEN SEN SEN
Rapid Growth SYN SYN SYN
Strategic Warfare SEN COMSYN
Combat Clinic MED MED SEN
  • Begin the fight with Rapid Growth. Be sure to cast vigilance on your party. When you need to heal throughout the fight, switch to Combat Clinic. The boosts are nice, but not necessary for a five star ranked battle.
  • Once the damage starts to kick in and you've healed, switch to Offensive Screen. This will help mitigate the damage while you assault the machine.
  • Omega will begin to charge power. When it says "Charging Power 120%", immediately switch to Tortoise and brace for the impending Wave Cannon attack.
  • Wave Cannon causes Omega to Overheat. Immediately after he uses Wave Cannon switch to Cerberus.
  • If at any point you desire to refresh your buffs you can use Strategic Warfare
  • Once Omega starts running around wildly and glowing you've reached the home stretch. He will not be hitting as hard so Cerberus may be imployed when not healing.

Omega Recruitment

With the aquisition of Omega's crystal, it is a raisable Commando. It requires mechanical materials. It will consume a massive amount of Potent Generators. You will use them for two Crystarium stages at the end of which you will be consuming 6 at a time.
