Scene: Chapter 3

Location: Kilika

Dear Diary,

After getting the alert of trouble in Kilika we headed to the docks. After picking up a few items we went to Dona's house. Dona agreed to help us get through the Youth League's gate but it wasn't easy. When we got to the gate area Dona's job was to distract the guard. What we had to do was watch for a Youth League member approaching the gate, then we'd check to see if Dona had the guard distracted and finally we'd make a break for it. It was intense because we only had ONE chance to get the whole thing right. But it was worth it because we got aBushido Lore accessory in the chest right past the gate.

With the accessory in hand we headed into the woods. Unfortunately the Youth League had errected barricades on all the main paths. After visiting all the barricades we decided to follow Dona's advice and look for the path in the trees. We found it in the section just West of the Save Sphere. After making it through the trees we reached the temple stairs. At the top we made any final preparations and headed into the temple.

Inside we rescued Barthello and he mentioned something about the fiends being connected to the flames. We gathered that meant extinguish all the flames. Unfortunately every time we wanted to put one out we had to fight pairs of Daevas. In the last room before the Chamber of the Fayth we fought a pair of Daevas but after the fight we found the Samurai dressphere on the ground. We finally made it into the chamber of the Fayth only to find we had to fight Ifrit!

Obviously Ifrit will absorb fire and is weak to ice attacks. He's also vulnerable to Slow so you should be able to reduce his speed considerably to buy time for you to take him down. Really just take advantage of his weakness with a Black Mage's Blizagga or any other ice based skills.
